Where can I find Muse Pilates Studio?

Muse Pilates Studio is located at 64 High Street, Shepton Mallet, BA4 5AX. You can find us at the top of the High Street, in the white unit next to Screwfix; easy to spot and easy to get to.

Where can I park?

There’s plenty of parking nearby, with up to 3 hours free parking just a 1-minute walk from Muse, including Haskins Retail Park & Tesco Car Park.

I’ve never done reformer pilates before, where do I start?

Beginners are always welcome at Muse. If you’re new to Reformer Pilates, we recommend starting with a Muse Beginners class or a private 1-1 session. Our Muse For All classes are mixed ability and beginner-friendly, but if you’d prefer a gentler introduction, a Muse Beginners class or 1-1 is a great place to start.

How do I book a class?

You can book a class through our app 'Muse Pilates Studio UK' or via our website. You’ll just need to create a login, purchase class credits and then use them to book onto whichever class you’d like.
Our app is available to download from the App Store and Google Play. We also have a step-by-step guide on our Instagram and Facebook showing how to book. If you need any help, please feel free to email us or send us a message on socials and we’ll be happy to help.

How do I book a private session ... 1:1 / 2:1?

Private sessions can be booked through our app 'Muse Pilates Studio UK' or via our website. Create a login and select Appointments to view and book available 1:1 or 2:1 sessions.
Our app is available to download from the App Store and Google Play. If you need any help booking, please feel free to send us an email or message us on social and we’ll be happy to help.

How do I book a private group session?

Do you offer gift cards?

Accepted Answer

Yes, absolutely! A Muse gift card is a lovely way to treat someone, whether they’re already a fan of Reformer or you’d like to gift someone their first class. Gift cards are available to purchase in the studio or through our app.

What do I wear?

Wear whatever you feel comfortable moving in. We recommend breathable gym wear or activewear that allows you to move freely.

What should I bring with me?

Just yourself and a bottle of water. Grip socks are required for all classes for hygiene and safety. You can purchase them through our app and collect them in the studio or buy them in person. Muse grip socks are £12. Cash and card payments are accepted.

When should I arrive?

Accepted Answer

Please arrive no more than 5 minutes before your class. If you arrive earlier, we kindly ask that you wait until the instructor opens the door. For everyone’s comfort, the door remains locked while a class is in session so sessions aren’t interrupted.

How do I cancel my class?

You can cancel or reschedule your class through the app or booking website up to 8 hours before the class start time. If you cancel within this window, your class credit will be returned to your account so you can use it again.
If you cancel less than 8 hours before the class, the credit will be lost. However, we always appreciate you cancelling if you can, as it gives someone else on the waitlist the chance to take the spot.

How does the waitlist work?

If a class is fully booked, you can join the waitlist. Plans change all the time and cancellations happen regularly, so if a spot becomes available you’ll receive an email notification and can grab the space if you still want it.

I have an injury, can I still attend a class?

Accepted Answer

If you’re currently injured, please make sure you’ve been cleared to exercise by a healthcare professional before attending class.

Do you have a lateness policy?

No we don't! We know life happens. If you arrive after the class has started, you’re still welcome to join, we just ask that you come in quietly and get settled so the class can continue uninterrupted.

Can I film or take videos during my class?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely. All we ask is that you use either the first reformer (closest to the front door) or the last reformer (at the back of the room) and position your camera so it faces away from the rest of the class. We love seeing you share your sessions and track your progress ... we just ask that you respect other people’s space and privacy.
