About Muse

Hi, I'm Meg, the owner of Muse Pilates Studio.
I studied Sport and Exercise Science at university, where I developed a strong interest in bio-mechanics, functional movement, joint alignment, load distribution and how the kinetic chain works together.
I've always been curious about movement - how we build strength progressively, how posture is influenced by muscle imbalances, and how small adjustments in positioning can completely change the way something feels.
When I first came across Reformer Pilates, I fell in love straight away. I hate to admit it ... but at the beginning I was one of those people who thought it was just a bit of "stretching"... I was SO wrong.

What stood out to me straight away was the control. The detail. The way small changes in position made such a difference. It improved my posture, deep core strength, mobility and overall confidence in my body. It quite literally changed my life.
To me, Muse is about taking time for yourself. Trying something new, moving with intention, and having someone in your corner. I'll be there to support you and celebrate every win ... big or small.
I created Muse to be accessible, welcoming and grounded in strong movement principles. Somewhere you can build strength, move at your own pace and feel genuinely looked after; whether you're completely new to exercise or looking to deepen your practice. I'm here to support you whatever stage you're at.
Muse isn't about perfection. It's about understanding your body and doing something for you. And I feel incredibly grateful to be building that here in
Shepton Mallet.
